Privacy, short and plain
What we store
Only two things: the Instagram @handle you type, and your avatar settings (build, colours, hair, clothes). Plus the date you joined and your citizen number. No name, no email, no photo, no password, no Instagram login.
In your browser
A random key that lets this browser edit or delete your avatar, and your last unsaved look. Your private edit link holds the same key. Anyone with that link can edit your avatar, so keep it to yourself.
What is public
Your Life of Hyro citizen passport is public. Anyone can search your @handle on "Find a citizen" and see your avatar, your Life of Hyro passport and your citizen number. Your avatar may also appear in a Life of Hyro episode (for example in a crowd, or if you comment and get picked).
Delete any time
Open your passport on the phone you made it on (or with your edit link) and tap "Delete my avatar". It is gone from our database right away. Your citizen number is retired and never given to anyone else.

- We use Cloudflare to host the site and block bots. The bot check is Cloudflare Turnstile, covered by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. We don't sell anything to anyone.
- If you got your handle back with a comment code, we read that public comment to check it.
